Version 8 of work manager now supports alerting. This alerting allows monitoring of certain events in the system which allows any team leaders, workers, etc to be notified that a task is about to expire, for example. EG Notify is an extension of that notification mechanism. WM will generate these alerts and broadcast the alerts in real time to this application. Also the users of the application will be able to see a history of alerts as they have happened, users will be see general messages as well as being able report on their location.
